Garden Path Fermentation: Showcase
THURSDAY 30th JANUARY we will be pouring a huge range of Garden Path Fermentation beers, brought to you all the way from SKAGIT, WASHINGTON, USA.
Their beer particularly focuses on subtle, fermentation-driven products with a depth of character and complexity, including several that employ native, natural, and/or mixed fermentation.
The Easygoing Drink – Lightly tart and hoppy ale fermented in a foudre and finished in oak and stainless, keg-conditioned with Skagit blackberry honey.
The Dry Hopped Streams Well – Dry-hopped, foudre-fermented, native yeast ale, naturally conditioned with Skagit blackberry honey.
The Garden Paths Led to Flowered – Hoppy blonde ale fermented with native yeast in an open foudre, blended, dry-hopped, and naturally conditioned with Skagit blackberry honey
The Old School The New – Our take on what IPA once was, using Skagit Valley malt, a coolship full of hops, native yeast fermentation in an open foudre and naturally conditioned with Skagit blackberry honey
The Prime Barrel Age – A carefully curated blend of several renditions of native yeast fermented, mature, barrel-aged beer, naturally conditioned with blackberry honey from The Valley’s Buzz
The Patient Fish The Sea – Amber-colored barrel blend, inoculated with some of our funkier house yeast before bottle conditioning. (6.4%)
Dry Table Mead – Dry, light, modest strength mead fermented in oak with our native yeast and Skagit fireweed honey from The Valley’s Buzz
The Subtle Blend Raspberry – A blend of foudre-fermented beer refermented in upright puncheons with fresh, organic raspberries from Viva Farms and mature, barrel-aged beer, naturally conditioned with blackberry honey from The Valley’s Buzz.
