We are very pleased to welcome Kim from Nevel Artisan Ales to Leeds, who is making the trip from the Netherlands to join us for an evening of beer, meat & cheese.
Nevel is a Dutch craft brewery focusing on traditional brewing techniques and historical European beer styles like saison, pale ale and porter. They are the only brewery in the Netherlands that is completely dedicated to wild and mixed fermented beers, brewed with cultures that they captured in the wild.
Nevel use local, organic and mostly unprocessed ingredients, because they want their beers to have the pure and delicate natural flavours of the plants and hops they love. They often forage for herbs and fruits in the forests and fields near their hometown, so you can literally taste the surrounding landscape of the brewery in their beers.
For your £20 ticket, you will receive a 100ml serve of 6 different Nevel beers, each individual beer paired with a high quality cheese or meat, collaboratively paired with Kim from Nevel & our beer, cheese & meat experts at Friends Of Ham. This will be a intimate, limited ticket event, so you will also get plenty of opportunity to chat to Kim about Nevel & ask any questions you may have about the brewery itself or wild/mixed fermentation beers.
Tickets are very limited so be sure to get in quick. This is Nevel’s first event in the north, so this is not one to miss.
