Members of the craft, join us in celebration as we bring that which has been hidden into the light. The unveiling of Cloaking Device is upon us. Feast with us and you will be greatly rewarded with visions of What We Do In The Shadows.
Cloaking Device, Brooklyn’s latest from their Quarterly Experiment program is a strong Brett-fermented porter, aged for nine months in French oak red wine barrels. It was then hand-bottled and re-fermented in the bottle with Champagne yeast. All at once there comes a wave of Brett-powered earthy aromas, a thrilling rush of cacao-like fruitiness, hints of vanilla and pineapple, a touch of acidity, underlying forest-floor funk and the powerful murmur of French oak barrels. A beautifully dry finish cuts through and leaves you wondering how we got the drop on you. This is the true power of the Cloaking Device: the element of surprise.
Event includes beers throughout the evening including 2 glasses of Cloaking Device, a meat and cheese board, desert, the screening of What We Do In The Shadows as well as a number of surprises & treats. Further details will be sent to you in time.
